Mark is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the financial sector. Mark’s vision for OpenExchange is driven by his ability to see where traditional financial services are enhanced by technological advancements. He was previously CEO of Soundview Technology Group and, through its acquisition of Soundview, an EVP of Charles Schwab Corp. Before Soundview, Mark was the head of investment banking of the firm’s predecessor, Wit Capital, the first online investment bank, known for pioneering innovation to the distribution of IPOs. Earlier in his career, he was with Smith Barney, and was president of Smith Barney Pacific, head of global equity sales and head of equity capital markets. Mark currently serves on the board of Proctor Academy. He earned his BA in economics from Cornell University.

A seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive, Allen has a 25-year career in founding, building, investing in, and leading technology startups, including his recent role as Chief Operating Officer of KnowledgeVision Systems, which was acquired by OpenExchange in October, 2019. Allen brings his experience in building and managing global software development and service delivery teams to lead and grow a global service organization for OpenExchange. Prior to KnowledgeVision and OpenExchange, Allen was Senior Vice President of Hitachi Consulting’s Outsourced Product Development unit, delivering services from development resources in China and India to clients in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has founded and/or led numerous technology companies, including Sierra Atlantic, CYA Technologies, ArrAy Incorporated, Human Asset Technology, and Peritus Software Services.

Mike brings a wealth of Wall Street and growth-company experience to his role as chief financial officer of OpenExchange. Mike spent 19 years in sell-side equity research, 15 years as a leading financial services analyst at First Boston and Morgan Stanley and four years as the latter’s North America equity research director. He then reinvented in 2004 as a CFO, serving as the first CFO of Gerson Lehman Group, Argus Information and Oak Hill Advisors with oversight of accounting, finance, operations, technology, capital-raising and controls. Mike is on the New York City board of directors of Summer Search, a non-profit dedicated to guiding students from low-income households through high school, then college, and putting them on the path to meaningful careers and community participation. Mike holds an AB in economics from Brown University and an MBA with distinction from Harvard University. He is also a chartered financial analyst.

Gib has a unique range of experiences from his twenty years on Wall Street. He has advised investors, private and public company executives, boards as well as investor relations officers. Gib has experience starting new businesses and enhancing existing practices. He is passionate about the public and private equity markets, ESG trends and problem solving for clients.

Gib was most recently running Business Development for the corporate governance advisory firm, PJT Camberview. Prior to this, Gib was a co-founder of the Private Company Access practice and led the North American Corporate Access team at Citi. Gib got his start on Wall Street as an Institutional Salesperson at Goldman and then at Citi. Gib is a Chartered Financial Analyst and attended UNC-Chapel Hill for both undergrad and graduate school.

Prior to joining OpenExchange, Emilia was an investment banker in Deutsche Bank’s Global Industrials Group where she advised companies across a range of strategic initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, and equity & debt offerings. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics.

A fintech innovator with an extensive product and strategy background, Herb is an entrepreneurial leader with over twenty-five years of Wall Street experience and expert knowledge of both buy-side and sell-side workflows. He has had proven success in building and growing businesses, launching products, and driving high levels of client engagement.

Prior to OpenExchange, he led the strategic initiative to expand Ipreo/IHS Market’s Capital Markets solutions to the institutional investor community which radically improved the bond issuance experience for hundreds of clients globally. At Bloomberg, Herb partnered with the firm’s most high-profile clients to establish the AIM Premium business line within Bloomberg’s Trading Solutions practice, transforming product and service offerings to better address the evolving needs of the world’s largest investors.

Herb also has extensive sell-side experience and served in both front office and technology leadership positions at Jefferies, Knight Trading Group, Wit SoundView, SG Cowen, and Merrill Lynch.

Kate brings to OE, execution and leadership skills that she gleaned from 15 years on Wall Street in investment banking and through several positions at rapidly growing businesses. Kate’s ability to take complex operational and financial considerations, break them down into component decisions and then develop scalable, value driving business strategies, makes her a valuable part of OE’s leadership. Kate started her career at Smith Barney and has worked at Salomon Smith Barney then Citigroup, Wit Capital then SoundView Technology Group, Clifford Chance, Deutsche Bank and K-DEER Inc. Kate has a BA in Political Theory from Villanova University, an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and an AS in Textile Design from FIT.

Having spent 14years in Asia with Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Polygon Investment, and the ensuing 8 years in New York with BNP, UBS and Deutsche Bank, he remains passionate about sharing insights on equity markets across Asia & globally especially in the context of evolving technology ecosystems. Jay holds a B.A. in Economics from Yonsei University.

For most of her career she ran commission management businesses both regionally and globally, creating and implementing the business linestructure. She also worked as a COO in research management investigating and managing a portfolio of new business initiatives designed to generate new revenue opportunities.
Glenna is an insightful relationship manager with a deep understanding of the complex client needs while also bringing strong client strategy and problem-solving abilities. She earned her BS in Business Administration, majoring in Management with a field concentration in Aeronautics from Auburn University. WarEagle!

Stu has spent more than three decades in the Investment Banking industry, highlighted by serving as Managing Director of Global Equities and a member of the Board of Directors of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Stu also is the former Chair of the Board at SoundView Technologies. Previously, he was Chair of Autranet and a board member of DLJ International Equities. In addition, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Archipelago Holdings, First Call and LaBranche & Co. At DLJ Stu also served as Director of Research and before that as a research analyst for which he was rated an Institutional Investor All Star for eleven consecutive years. He currently serves as Chair of Amherst Partners and has been active with numerous early stage companies and charities as board member and/or adviser. Stu holds an Honorary Doctorate in Business from West Virginia University, where he is a member of the WVU Academy of Distinguished Alumni, chairs the School of Business Advisory Board and is the former Chair of the West Virginia University Foundation.

An internationally recognized pioneer in online media, Michael is the former Chief Content Officer of OpenExchange. He was founder and CEO of KnowledgeVision Systems, creators of the Knovio video and smart media platform that was acquired by OpenExchange in 2019. A former Lotus, Ziff-Davis and AT&T executive who was a prominent architect in the internet content revolution, he is an accomplished business strategist, technology executive, and Emmy-winning creative talent with WGBH-TV. In addition to his work in media, he was a vice president and partner at the global strategy consulting firm of Bain and Company. Michael is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School. An avid pilot, Michael has served on the Board of Directors of Piper Aircraft and AmSafe Global Holdings, and is an Overseer of Boston’s Museum of Science and a Trustee Emeritus of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.

Marvin is a retired Principal and Co-Founder of NorthPoint Capital-Michigan, Inc. and President of Daitch Realty Company. He has been an active owner, developer, and manager of real estate since 1960 and is a General Partner in multiple real estate ventures. Prior to his career in real estate, Marvin was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Arnold Drugs, a drug store chain that was owned by Borman Foods, a NYSE Corporation. Marvin has been an active board member and community leader in and around metropolitan Detroit and has held positions including Chairman of the Legislative Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Michigan. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Detroit Zoological Society of Michigan and on the International Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Association.

Lloyd Feller is a retired former counsel and partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.. Prior to rejoining Morgan Lewis in 2011, Mr. Feller served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Jefferies Group Inc. and Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of SoundView Technology Group Inc. and its predecessor Wit Capital. Mr. Feller helped found Morgan Lewis's securities industry practice following his departure from the SEC. While at the SEC, Lloyd served as an associate director of the SEC's Division of Market Regulation (now Trading and Markets), where he was in charge of the Office of Market Structure and Trading Practices, as well as chief counsel to the Chief Accountant and a legal assistant to two SEC Commissioners.

Gary is a Managing Director and Global Head of Equities Client Strategy for Barclays. He is responsible for delivery of the firm’s resources to Institutional clients. This entails evaluating global industry trends, value drivers, and the relative value of resources in order to develop our product capabilities and prioritize access. Additionally, he heads the Institutional Corporate Marketing Team globally which is responsible for origination and delivery of corporate access and manages the commission management team in the Americas. Mr. James joined Barclays in 2008 from Lehman Brothers where he was most recently Head of Client Strategy, Americas.

Charley's investment career includes investments in 43 portfolio companies, which have resulted in 33 exits thus far. His track record includes 15 companies that went public, of which 10 achieved market caps in excess of $1 billion. The combined value of exits during Charley’s venture career has been over $6.1 billion which includes the $4.3 billion purchase of GeoCities by Yahoo!. Charley was recently named one of the top 50 venture capitalists on the east coast by AlwaysOn. Charley currently serves on the boards of a number of GBC companies, including; Ember Corporation, KnowledgeVision, OutStart, SilverRail Technologies,GlassHouse Technologies, First Coverage, SendMe Mobile, VillageVines and Vela Systems.

For over 30 years, he held senior finance roles at various public and private technology companies. Bud is a member of Launchpad Venture Group, an angel investing organization.

Before joining Citigroup, Gavin was Global Head of Equity Research Database at Deutsche Bank from 1990 until 2001.

Prior to MessageBank’s inception, he was responsible for global sales at ConferTech International, Inc. an audio conferencing services provider and bridging manufacturer which was sold to Frontier Communications and then Global Crossing. Steven has been recognized by IR Magazine and CIO Review as a “leading executive in the global unified communications marketplace”.
